The internet will tell you, you should see results in 4-6 weeks but in reality it can take up to 3 months before you will see any results. This is why its great having a personal trainer to push you past your comfort zone and to point you in the right direction.
The studio is open during times where clients have booked sessions and during group classes.
Client sessions can be booked with your trainer: Monday – Friday 5.30am to 7.00pm, Saturday 5.30am – 12.00pm. Specific times may vary depending on your trainers availability.
This will depend on what your overall goal is. We tailor our programs to suit the individual’s needs and wants.
Yes you will! We ensure you learn as well as getting a sweat on by providing instructions and cues to help to improve your form and effectiveness of the exercise.
This will depend on your overall goals, budget and experience but a good recommendation is to do 2-4 sessions a week to get into a good routine with exercise and see lasting improvements. The following is a guide used by many personal trainers based on 30-45 minute sessions.
MOVEMENT: 1 session per week, will improve your range of motion & provide limited improvements to cardio & strength conditioning. Gains can be quick lost if training is not regular.
MAINTENANCE: 2 sessions per week, moderate gains in aspects of fitness being trained such as strength, endurance, cardio & range of motion. Also requires regular training to minimise rapid detraining effect.
RESULTS: 3-4 sessions per week, will provide noticeable gains to fitness components being worked. Gains will be maintained for longer and allow for building into more intense and lasting fitness goals.
PERFORMANCE: 5 sessions per week. As per results however the additional sessions allow for more intense training of body parts to achieve specific goals and more time to be spent on recovery, flexibility or plyometric sessions.
Yes you can!. With the correct guidance from our trainers at the studio, you can train while being pregnant. There are many benefits to continuing exercise during the child bearing year.
Yes! Both Josh and Mark are qualified Rehab Trainers. One of the most common myths is that you should avoid training while injured but there are many ways you can work around the injury to keep the training going.
We offer both one on one personal training as well the option to train in pairs.
We also offer members the opportunity to come in on their days where they don’t have personal training to use the cardio equipment using our Casual Cardio Pass.
