Sean Underwood
My fitness journey began as a client of Uplift PT Studio. I have experienced first hand the benefits of engaging a quality personal trainer to help achieve fitness goals and support my lifestyle.
After working for a number of years in the corporate business world, I saw people leading increasingly sedentary lives and began thinking about how this was affecting their quality of life, now and into the future. Being on the other side of 50, I have an understanding of how clients find it difficult to get back into fitness or stay motivated to reach their goals.
As a personal trainer I could see an opportunity to have a positive effect on other peoples lives. I wanted to work with clients to achieve their ideal body composition, improve range of motion and most importantly live full and active lives.
I have always had a keen interest in fitness and sports, playing many years of AFL and a variety of other social sports. My main sport remains cricket, which I am still actively playing in open and veterans competitions. This also includes junior coaching where I have worked with kids from primary school entry level to premier cricket programs.
